Epicondylitis Elbow – Medial Epicondylitis / Golfers Elbow

In Golfer’s Elbow or Medial Epicondylitis it is the muscles on the inner elbow that become irritated (generally through overuse or excessive strain) and painful whenever you use them. Golf / golfer’s elbow and medial epicondylitis are one and the same thing with perhaps acute inflammation of the elbow tendons initially, and more commonly, chronic degenerative changes in the small tendons that connect these muscles to the medial epicondyle.
