What are the symptoms of Achilles Tendonitis Injury and do I have it?

With Acute Achilles Tendonitis Injury you often feel all or most of the following things:-

• sharp nagging pain above heel
• ‘first step’ pain in the morning or after sitting for a while
• walking downstairs first thing in morning
• increase in pain by walking up stairs or uphill
• localised painful swelling in your tendon
